Overall inventory increased slightly, but the increase in bagged inventory was limited. Some alumina companies underwent maintenance and reduced production during the holiday, while others began preparing containers before the holiday, with surplus inventory from the holiday already forming orders and ready for shipment. Electrolytic aluminum companies experienced a slight overall decrease in alumina inventory, which is directly related to the reduced transport capacity during the Spring Festival and partially related to the sudden drop in alumina supply in northern China.
