Factors such as long-term contract signings, annual production targets, cost reduction expectations, and the impact of new production capacity are all influencing the alumina market. Considering these factors, alumina plants are currently not strongly inclined to reduce production and are expected to maintain stable production in the short term. However, once 2026 arrives, with long-term contracts finalized and production targets met, some alumina production capacity may be reduced in the medium to long term, thus providing support for prices.
