Recently, the futures price of alumina has been fluctuating downward due to the expected release of new production capacity and the strong expectation of resumption of production in the market. Meanwhile, the spot price has continued to rise due to the previous production cuts and the uncertainty of ore supply in Guinea. There are still differences in the market regarding prices, which has led to less spot transactions. At the same time, the upward trend of spot transaction prices has slowed down compared with the previous period.
