Alumina Daily Review-Jul.06th

2026-07-06

The market fundamentals for domestically produced alumina have remained relatively stable; however, after a brief period of price stability, prices have recently come under pressure and edged downward. As long-term contract prices for Guinean ore remain steady, alumina production costs—influenced by these input prices—have also held firm, leading to expectations that price support will weaken. With alumina supply projected to continue rising, the resulting fundamental pressure is unlikely to shift in the near term, while the market must also remain vigilant regarding the potential impact of unexpected events.
