The alumina market has been somewhat stagnant recently, with the price game between supply and demand continuing. Due to high spot inventory levels, some electrolytic aluminum plants are not in a hurry to purchase, and spot transaction prices have maintained a downward trend recently. In the short term, there are no significant production cuts in alumina, and the market remains in a state of oversupply. Given the weak fundamentals, alumina prices are unlikely to rise significantly.
