Coupled with a pessimistic outlook for the market, some factories are still actively producing alumina, even though some capacity is already operating at a cost inversion or even experiencing cash flow losses. In the short term, alumina operating capacity remains high, and the bearish fundamentals have not changed. As a result, alumina prices continue to decline.
